Merry Christmas, Happy New Year (ditto in French) to you and your wife! Enjoy your holidays! My sincere thank you for your generous sharing of insights and techniques for capturing the world around us in pencil, pen and watercolor.
Thank you for the generous sharing of your skills, and those of others. I would never be able to afford the workshops offered by the various artists that you have covered this year, including your own, but I feel I’m “right there” because of your impressive explanations and pictures. Thank you thank you. Yvonne Wagner
A joyous Christmas to you – and gratitude for all your blog entries and inspirational sketches…and for reminding us of how splendid is Montreal (from West Vancouver)
I start my watercolors in earnest in early 2018. Thanks for the direction and insight. I hope everyday is tinged with a holiday season for you and your wife, and that this one is especially wonderful . . . Karen
Here in NY we usually say vacation. Marc, thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with all of us. You are so encouraging and make us think as you inspire us. One of the highlights of my year was your workshop in Chicago. Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful Happy New Year!
Don’t know how I missed this post. The painting is fantastic. You didn’t write anything about it tho. I also just found Innocence Lost Production Day. An incredible set of work. Have you published it? (I do have your book)
Chanukah and Christmas are now past. So I wish you a very happy year to come.
There’s no collection of the Innocence Lost sketches – other than on the blog – but I did have an exhibition of the drawings (in the lobby of the national theater in Ottawa no less!).
How about neither… guess I’m too old and Southern, I say vacation for warm weather trips, and holidays for winter trips. Merry Christmas Marc.

Love how your clouds fell into the stream – or maybe, the water rose to meet the sky. Beautiful!
