ancestor skulls

[10 min sketches, ballpoint and brush pen on cover stock]

We were at the DeYoung museum in Golden Gate Park for a show on the origins of impressionism – but I really can’t visit the museum without going upstairs to draw these two Asmat ancestor skulls.

Update: Here’s a silly time lapse video of one of these sketches :) Sorry about the rough quality. Sill figuring out video editing settings.

Love the time-lapse video and final results. How much time is the video compressing?

Hey Bob! It’s about 10x speed, the drawing took around 10 min or so…long time no chat by the way! What are you doing now?

Hey again! I see now your original post actually says 10 minutes. I feel dumb. :) But thanks for answering, haha. Anyway, like usual, I’m always impressed by your work.

As for me, thanks for the friend request on Facebook. Maybe I should be writing this there. And… maybe I will. To be continued. On Facebook. :p
