Love your explanation. Got your book Direct Watercolor and it has been so very helpful. Really enjoyed the initial read and is now my go to reference!

Wonderful work. I love the limited palette. What color did you use. You are an inspiration

Hey Grace – I tend to have three of each color on the palette, (three reds, three blues, three greens,etc.). For the green background here it’s DS Green Gold, Olive Green and Perylene Green (in order of light, med, dark). For the dark values it’s mostly mixing MG Turquoise (Which is Pthalo blue green shade I think) and MG Transparent Red Oxide, with DS Indigo and Neutral Tint. – these are kind of my everyday spring/summer colors :) Full palette is here: https://citizensketcher.files.wordpress.com/2018/05/direct-watercolor-palette1.jpg
