Night Sketching, Market Street
June 1, 2008
This is something I’ve wanted to get around to for a while now – I happened to be downtown for dinner tonight, so on the way back I did a couple of night drawings on Market Street.
I’ve always like the lighting there – I’d love to set up and plein air sometime – anyone want to do a 9 to midnight sketching outing!?! – we’ll see how that goes someday.
Nobody accosted me, and I didn’t get questioned by the cops – so, we’ll see – maybe there’ll be more of these late night drawings.

I really dig these ink sketches you are doing. Very powerful stuff. You need to put these in frames and get them into a gallery.
Ooh – one of these sketchgroups we should do Sketchgroup: Hobo Style.
Really beautiful, as always.
More really nice work!
When you refer to “PA” I assume Pennsylvania since that’s where I grew up. Did you mean someplace else?
oh! PA = Plein Air – picked that up from an oil painting forum…
Amazing. Especially the tower.
